After an unforeseen nine-month mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS), NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore have safely made their way back to Earth. Mission Extension Due to Starliner Malfunction

The Crew-10 capsule successfully docked with the ISS on March 16, 2025, marking a significant step toward bringing Williams and Wilmore home. Successful Reentry and Splashdown
Williams and Wilmore departed the ISS aboard Crew Dragon on March 17, 2025. Their journey back to Earth lasted approximately 19 hours before the capsule safely splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean. They were immediately recovered by SpaceX’s recovery team and transported for post-mission medical evaluations.
